RAYMOND'S BACKYARD
On a trip to Raymond Island situated within the Gippsland Lakes, each evening we were graced with a ritual of a large koala I called ‘Raymond’ strolling from the backyard to the front yard, right past the outdoor table we were gathered around. Such an incredible sight to witness, with the photos of ‘Raymond’ that I eagerly snapped, I decided to use one to paint this artwork of him as he graciously meandered past us each night, through ‘his’ backyard, with the sunset blanketing his thick fur and the dewy grass.

This limited-edition print run of the original painting ‘RAYMOND'S BACKYARD’ is limited to only 25 prints per size, with each print numbered and hand signed by myself. I work closely with a Gippsland-based boutique printing studio to ensure the highest print quality. This print uses archival inks on 300gsm archival cotton rag paper, for a rich and textual look.
