'Feature Artist' at the Grammar Art Show, Toowoomba

This year I had the incredible honour of being selected as a Feature Artist at the renowned Toowoomba Grammar Art Show — one of Queensland’s most prestigious annual art events. The show brings together over 250 established and emerging Australian artists, showcasing more than 800 artworks across a single weekend. It’s a huge celebration of Australian creativity, and being part of it was something I’ll never forget.

The response to my work honestly blew me away. Every piece I exhibited found a home, and the conversations I had with collectors — hearing their personal connections with the animals, landscapes, and stories behind my art — will stay with me forever. That’s what makes events like this so special: it’s about more than sales, it’s about connection, community, and the shared love of art.

Hats well and truly off to Bec and the entire committee for putting together another hugely successful show. This year they broke all previous records, with more than $400,000 worth of art sold over the weekend. Their dedication, passion, and sheer hard work created an atmosphere that was welcoming, inspiring, and unforgettable.

While my own works have sold, the online gallery will remain live for a few more weeks, giving collectors the chance to purchase incredible pieces from many other talented artists.

A heartfelt thank you to the Toowoomba Grammar Art Show team and to all my new collectors — your support and generosity mean the world.
